Maunder Taylor is an independent, family-owned Estate Agent in London, a partnership of Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents, Managing Agents and Property Insurance Intermediaries. First established in 1938, the firm is now in the third generation of the family.
During the 1939-1945 war, John Maunder Taylor (known affectionately as Jack) served in the Royal Artillery whilst a local estate agent looked after his practice. Both survived. Two of Jack’s sons soon entered the Partnership; Robert, in 1963, followed by Bruce, in 1970. The practice avoided the “multiple estate agency” boom of the late 1980s, and instead decided to specialise in particular fields of property practice, paving the way to the multi-disciplinary, general practice consultancy firm we are today. Two of Bruce’s sons then joined the firm; Michael in 2006, followed by Ross in 2012.
