Over the years I have worked with Jason on a number of different types of cases and I always find him to be thorough and diligent with his reports and general advice. He always responds to emails promptly and is very happy to discuss matters on the phone. I have referred numerous clients to Jason and all have been very pleased with this advice and guidance. I would not hesitate to recommend Jason on any type of lease extension or enfranchisement work

We were purchasing a freehold from the council who were extremely difficult - however we were very fortunate to have Ross from Maunder Taylor who was extremely helpful, approachable and extremely professional during an overall difficult purchase. Thank you Ross - an asset to the company!

I have instructed Michael Maunder Taylor in connection with mismanagement of premises and management order proceedings. My client and I have been impressed by Michael’s knowledge, experience, efficiency and thorough approach.

My family wholeheartedly recommends Maunder Taylor following a very good experience selling our home. After my father met Ben Ewen, he strongly recommended we use Maunder Taylor, despite my recommendation to shop around. After shopping around, I agreed Maunder Taylor was our best option and as soon as I met Ben myself, I understood my father’s insistence. Ben is very pleasant to deal with and handled our sale professionally and efficiently from day one, with the utmost integrity and kindness. He managed our price expectations well in an uncertain market and secured us good offers. Our sale was a little complicated, not least due to the global pandemic, but having Ben in our corner was extremely reassuring. We completed on time and found the fees to be excellent value. I was genuinely sorry my next transaction was on the other side of London! Thank you, Maunder Taylor.

Our block of flats had a toxic and extremely difficult history due to various factors. The Maunder Taylors were appointed Managers by the Tribunal in 2014. We previously had at least 4 managing agents who resigned within a year because they were not prepared for the toxic and divisive atmosphere and the in-fighting amongst leaseholders. The exterior was completely run down due to the fact that no external repairs had taken place for a number of years. They managed to resolve long-standing problems and handled contentious issues between groups of lessees with differing views on management matters in a professional manner. Since the Maunder Taylors’ appointment as Managers, the flats have been turned around and now are a desirable place to live and invest in. their team have played a big part in turning the estate from tired looking to a place which now looks like it is well looked after. I would highly recommend them especially for difficult and contentious issues.

Bruce Maunder Taylor came highly recommended by 2 separates sources. They both work in Residential and commercial properties. I needed Bruce to help me removing a very unprofessional property management in a block of flats. Bruce had to gather all the evidence and represent me in Court. Bruce did this in a very professional way and subsequently managed the building.

I have instructed Bruce Maunder Taylor on a number of occasions to act as my surveyor expert in property disputes and his knowledge, pragmatism, breadth of experience and warmth and friendliness even when working under pressure, have proven invaluable to me and to my clients in the course of litigation matters.

We are directors of a freehold company in Marylebone and every now and then there are complex legal or personality issues that are beyond the normal scope of running a building. Our go to person is Bruce Maunder Taylor. Over the years Bruce has helped us with a fight against the previous head lessor, to enable us to get control of the building. More recently he won a case for us at the Tribunal against a long-term non-payer of the service charge. Bruce is excellent at taking a case all the way through the Tribunal, as well as offering practical, resolution advice that could avoid costly and time-consuming litigation altogether. Bruce is excellent at what he does and well respected by the Tribunal. We are very comforted by the fact that we know Bruce and if there are issues down the line, we can seek his guidance.

Bruce Maunder Taylor was the court-appointed manager at Northwood Hall from June 2016 until December 2019. Bruce managed an extremely difficult and litigious situation with integrity, patience and determination and, thanks to him, the vast majority of flats now enjoy full, modern central heating, the block’s gardens look better than they have in years and the block runs smoothly on a day to day basis. Bruce is a very level-headed, experienced and capable manager, who was well-respected and liked by many at Northwood Hall.
